Fred Beilstein Jr.

Beilstein is currently a Managing Director of Equicorp Partners and primarily focuses on identifying, analyzing and structuring potential investment opportunities. In addition, Beilstein is actively involved in all advisory and consulting engagements taken on by Equicorp. Such engagements include operational and financial advisory focused around consumer related brands and Franchising businesses.

He most recently served as a Board Member, President & CEO of Goldco, LLC, a 110 unit Burger King franchise. Goldco was successfully sold in 2012 and is now an active portfolio company of PNC Riverarch Capital. Beilstein was instrumental in Goldco becoming an industry leader. By strengthening its management team and restructuring its corporate as well as field organization, Goldco has become an operational and technology leader within the QSR franchisee space. Goldco continues to improve upon and meet operational excellence standards, while improving financial results within a difficult economic environment since its acquisition in early 2008.

Prior to Equicorp’s founding, Beilstein was with Credit Suisse, advising high net worth clients with respect to private equity and other alternative investments. Earlier in his investment management career, Beilstein worked for Register Financial as a Vice President focusing on the firms’ small-cap and hedge fund investment vehicles. Prior to that, Beilstein worked as an investment advisor with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in Atlanta, where he advised family groups and small institutions with respect to asset and risk management. His career began as a corporate banker, first with SunTrust Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst and later Sanwa Bank. He received a B.A. in Accounting from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Beilstein is also an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).
