Beilstein worked extensively on the formation of Equicorp Partners in 2005 and primarily focuses on identifying, analyzing and structuring potential investment opportunities. He currently serves as a Director and President & CEO of Goldco, LLC, a 63 unit Burger King franchisee, and has been instrumental in Goldco becoming an industry leader. By strengthening its management team and restructuring its corporate as well as field organization, Goldco has become an operational and technology leader within the QSR franchisee space, and continues to improve upon and meet operational excellence standards, all while improving financial results within a very difficult economic environment since its acquisition in early 2008.
From 2003 – 2005, Beilstein was with Credit Suisse First Boston’s Private Client Group, advising high net worth clients with respect to private equity and other alternative investments. Prior to Credit Suisse, Beilstein worked for Register & Akers Investments as a Vice President focusing on the firms’ small-cap and hedge fund investment vehicles. Prior to that, Beilstein worked as an investment advisor with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in Atlanta, where he advised family groups and small institutions with respect to asset and risk management. Beilstein began his career as a corporate banker, first with SunTrust Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst and later Sanwa Bank as Relationship Manager.
He received a B.A. in Accounting from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
